During the 60th edition of the Milano Design Week, the most important global event for the furnishing, architecture and interior design sector, FENIX®, X-KIN®, Arpa and Homapal® were on display in several exclusive locations, including of course, FENIX Scenario where the architect and designer Fabio Fantolino created interior “capsules”, starting from our materials. FENIX innovative materials, VIS and Bloom surfaces by Arpa, Homapal metal surfaces and the new X-KIN innovative wall coverings were the inspirational sources for De-Structura, an exhibition dedicated to the design freedom that opens the way for creative expression. A few minutes away from the showroom, visitors of MDW 2022 were enthusiastic of The Wall of Wonders in Casa Brera, an immersive exhibition conceived in collaboration with the artist Gustav von Arbin and the design duo CARA/DAVIDE, with the artistic direction of Motel409 and in collaboration with Musa. An “abstract” home where every room told a visual and acoustic story, animated by the everyday gestures that appear in domestic spaces through shadows reflected on the walls.
Homapal and X-KIN were used for “Vita Lenta”, an exhibition in Piazza Città di Lombardia where individuality co-exists with collectivity generating a unique entity moving into the public space. The installation curated by Finemateria was a sensory and inclusive exhibition that hosted 16 international designers, showcasing projects linked together by the same design approach: a slow and well thought-through creative process.
Moreover our surfaces were displayed in Superstudio, another historical key location of the Fuorisalone, for Urban Matter(s) exhibition and in Palazzo Bovara thanks to the collaboration with Elle Décor for the Design Forever installation.
